6ax: Find an angle such that three times its supplement equals 480 degrees.

Pre-Algebra: 20% of the molybdenum fused.  If 1420 grams did not fuse, What is the total mass of the molybdenum used?

Algebra:  The ratio of brave men to cowards on a battlefield was 17 to 12.  If the total of soldiers was 348, how many were not cowards?
